1989

 

 

On October 29, 1989 there was an accident on board the USS Lexington AVT-16.  Those who died in that accident will be remembered as brave and patriotic individuals.

The casualties listed below are from the period the USS Lexington CVA 16 operated in the Pacific and the names were obtained from the various cruise books published during that period i. e. 1955 to 1962.  It is with honor that we pay tribute to these sailors who gave their all for this country.
